Dr. Vazirani was invited to perform a live surgical demonstration of a novel technique of limbal stem cell transplantation during the international ocular surface workshop. This was witnessed by ocular surface experts gathered from around the world.

Dr. Vazirani was faculty for multiple instruction courses at the annual conference of the All India Ophthalmological Society. He instructed delegates on topics such as Simple Limbal Epithelial Transplantation (SLET), techniques for managing complex cases of pterygium as well as strategies for dealing with complex ocular surface disease

The underlying cause of chronic eye irritation, as well as multiple eyelid swellings, came to light when a parasite (Demodex) was isolated from the eyelashes in such cases

Dr. Vazirani was invited as faculty to Keracon – the annual cornea society meeting. He was session coordinator and instructed delegates on lid margin mucous membrane grafting

Dr. Vazirani was instructor for wet-lab sessions and invited faculty at the international meeting on refractive surgery.

Dr. Vazirani conducting training sessions for ophthalmologists on topography, and discussed complex cases of corneal disorders as faculty.

Dr. Vazirani was the first surgeon in the new state of Andhra Pradesh, and one of very few across the world to perform a novel artificial cornea surgery for complex ocular surface disease due to Stevens Johnsons Syndrome.

Dr. Vazirani’s research work on corneal infections and causes of limbal stem cell deficiency was presented at the World Cornea Congress, held once every 5 years

Dr. Vazirani presented his research at the annual meeting of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons

Dr Vazirani was invited to present and discuss a complex case of glaucoma at the World Glaucoma Congress
